Nigerian bottling Company (NBC) has 15 Factories and 90 Depots located throughout Nigeria. In the early 80s, Leventis took up the Franchise of Coca Cola in Europe (Greece) and they expanded into the Eastern Europe in the early 90s.
Now the Leventis Coca Cola business under the umbrella of CCHBC is operating in 28 countries and is the 3rd biggest bottler of Coca Cola in the world.
Frigoglass Group: Due to the difficulty in some essential materials for its operation, NBC embarked on vertical integration whereby they created manufacturing facilities for Glass bottles, Plastic containers, Crowns, PET and Coolers. In 1996 it was decided to separate the manufacturing of packaging materials by the creation of the Frigoglass Group.
